Retreats, Camps, & Trips
In addition to ongoing weekly ministries students have the opportunity to participate in a fall retreat, a winter ski trip, and a summer missions project. Retreats and Trips, provide students an opportunity to make new connections with students and staff. They also serve as a place where students can get spiritually challenged. Trips are a great way to become more unified as a youth group.
2006 - 2007 Schedule
Fall Retreat - Oct 20-22, 2006 -Timberlake Ranch Camp
The fall retreat is a must do for students. This an amazing weekend full of spiritual growth, fun, a a great chance for the group to get connected to each other and other youth workers. This retreat is a huge kickoff at the start of the year to get so many students involved and connected. This year we will be combining MS with SH to bring all of student ministries together. Karl Wheeler, who was with D2S will be bringing us the messages this weekend. There is also, High ropes course, canoes, paintball, and many other fun activites. Make sure and sign up for this retreat!
Winter Retreat - Jan 12-15, 2007 - Snowy Range Ski Resort
Wyoming is the destination of our winter ski trip. This is a great ski resort for the middle school students. Its not to big where we all get lost, but it is big enough to have a great time. The ski trip is a great time to fellowship with other students from the ministry. Again, we have a lot of fun skiing, but also have a spiritual aspect each day when we come off the slopes.
Summer Trip - June 18-23, 2006 - Table in the Wilderness
Get ready for the adventure of a life time as we go to Table in the Wilderness Camp in Laramie, Wyoming. Our MS group goes and helps serve at the camp by doing various activities for the camp. Cleaning, Mowing, Cooking, Painting, pretty much anything and everything we can do to help serve them, we will do. Along with serving we could have opportunities to rock climb, bike, repel, canoe, and raft. This is a great way to get connected to a smaller group of students and grow spiritually during the summer.
